Sonnenzimmer will host a “Move ‘N Groove” sale this weekend as they prepare to relocate from their studio space of six years in North Center. The Chicago-based art studio of Nick Butcher and Nadine Nakanishi, Sonnenzimmer creates posters, books, album packaging and other design projects for such distinguished clients as Andrew Bird, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Poetry Foundation. All items are fifty percent off.On Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, they will have books, posters, prints, paintings, quilts and records for sale, with prices ranging from $20 to $2,000. DJ Jammerlappen will provide tunes. The duo won’t be moving far, just into the Photo-Curio Building at 4045 North Rockwell. Still, “Move ‘N Groove” offers the chance to grab up works from a consistently superlative, eye-pleasing art and design practice.
