Bucktown Holiday Art Show
The thirteenth annual Bucktown Holiday Art Show comes to the Holstein Park Fieldhouse this December, bringing the work of 100 artists for the perusal and purchase of Chicago art lovers of all stripes. On display are works in a variety of media, from photography to textiles, watercolors to oils, and jewelry to ceramics. Holstein Park Fieldhouse, 2200 N. Oakley. ‘Tis the Season at MCA
‘Tis the Season invites families to celebrate the season with contemporary art at the MCA. Families can connect and explore ideas in the galleries, using the designs and colors they see to create their own projects. At 11am, families can celebrate the season with a special Taiko drumming performance featuring three generations of artists. Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E. Chicago, (312)280-2660. ShopColumbia Holiday Market
Buy gifts. Meet artists. Eat treats. Student and alumni artists will be on hand to talk about their work and customers can meet the talent behind the creations. A reception on Friday will make the shopping sweeter with warm beverages and holiday treats. Gift wrapping is free with a $10 donation to Scholarship Columbia or $100 purchase. 623 South Wabash.
